About our Give Back Grants

Our Give Back programme will create grants of up to £10,000 to fund programmes that empower black people, stand up against racism, and tackle inequality and the consequences of it.

The Give Back Fund is made up from donations from like-minded contributors who are passionate about the elevation of the black community. All donations are collected and then distributed among successful applications.

Who can apply?

Registered UK-based Charities, Community Interest Companies, and Not For Profit Organisations, that support and empower black people, and that have an annual income of less than £200,000 are eligible to apply. You should have at least one active social media account, an up-to-date safeguarding policy and be able to submit your previous year’s accounts for the trustees to have a look at as part of the application process.

 What can be funded?

Our Give Back Grant 2022 will be supporting projects that tackle mental health challenges faced by the black community within the UK. You don’t have to be a mental health only organisation, but the project you’re running will have to be focused on mental health. You’ll need to either be able to deliver the whole thing using the £10,000 grant, or show that you have the rest of the money necessary. You should also have a clear plan for how your project will be delivered, including details of how you’ll measure results.

Funding is currently closed.

Thank you to all our applicants.
