Leigh-Anne Pinnock

Co-Founder & Trustee

Pop star and entrepreneur Leigh-Anne shot to fame as part of Little Mix when they won the 8th series of X Factor in 2011. She has spoken candidly about her own experiences of racism, both growing up and as a celebrity, and won the Equality Award at the 2020 Ethnicity Awards.

Andre Gray

Co-Founder & Trustee

A footballer who has represented England and Jamaica as well as club teams including Luton Town and Watford, Andre understands the challenges facing young black men. As a young person he was involved in gang culture, which led to him being stabbed. He credits his position today to hard work and luck and wants to help others chase their dreams.

Sairah Pinnock

Co-Founder & Trustee

Sairah studied Community Arts Practice at university, and the skills she acquired there have afforded her a varied career that includes co-founding The Black Fund. She also co-founded and runs her event production company Inclusive Industry, as well as being her sister's personal manager.

Jay Blades MBE

Trustee

Having experienced racism at school, he set up the Out Of The Dark charity to give young people skills and teach them that you can make something out of nothing. It was through his charity work that he met Leigh-Anne and became her mentor. He has since gone on to become the face of The Repair Shop, and uses his furniture restoring skills to help young people.
